UPWIFT and FILM ALBANY are partnering together with The Linda – WAMC’S Performing Arts Studio to host a special screening of ‘Fourth Man Out’ “A sleeper delight about a garage mechanic’s bumpy, coming-out to his pack of very heterosexual bros.” Dennis Harvey, Film Critic, Variety Magazine Albany, NY – This exploration of friendship, coming of age, and coming out will look very familiar to local audiences. Shot in Albany with local crew, and cast liberally speckled with local talent, the story takes place in a tight knit neighborhood, where kids begin friendships in the sandbox and keep them alive through all the permutations of life — Even when this particular turn challenges the neighborhood to choose what matters…at the annual Fourth of July Family Barbecue. Timely. Touching. Hilarious. The upstate New York chapter of Women in Film & Television (UPWIFT) and Film Albany are excited to announce this screening in partnership with The Linda – WAMC’s Performing Arts Studio, thus focusing the spotlight on women filmmakers and their films, as well as films “Made in Albany.” Open to the public, this screening will be held at The Linda: WAMC’s Performing Arts Studio at 339 Central Avenue in Albany.
